1. Introduction
This privacy policy is provided by Elwood Transport, SARL, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 52437602, whose registered office is located at 10 rue des Sauniers 34110 Frontignan, France, trading under the name Elwood transport (hereinafter « the Company »).

The Company makes available to users (hereinafter the « User(s) ») the website https://www.elwoodtransport.com (hereinafter the « Site »), which allows them to discover and order removal-matching services, related services, or house-moving organisation services offered by the Company (hereinafter the « Services » and the « Order »), by requesting a free quote for their move via the « Free quote » section.
The Company also makes available, to Users who have previously requested a quote from the Company, a link on the Site leading to the web page dedicated to the client area.
2. What information does the Company collect from its Users?
2.1. In order to allow Users to access the Services on the Site, to benefit from a free quote, and to place an Order for Services, the Company, acting as data controller, collects the following personal data relating to Users:
- First and last name;
- Gender;
- Email address;
- Phone number;
- Departure address for the move;
- Arrival address for the move;
- Date of the move;
- Surface area of the departure location;
2.2. When Users create a client account, the Company, acting as data controller, collects the following personal data: email address, password.
2.3. The Company, acting as data controller, also collects the following personal data of Users: logs, connection data, IP address.
2.4. The Company informs Users that, subject to their consent, their customer review published on the Trustpilot platform may be made available on the Site in the form of a link leading to the corresponding Trustpilot web page.
2.5. The Company uses Users’ personal data for the following purposes:

2.6. Users’ personal data is kept only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which the Company holds the data, in order to meet Users’ needs, to comply with its legal or regulatory obligations, to allow it to exercise its rights, and/or for statistical or historical purposes.
2.7. At the end of the periods mentioned above, personal data will be deleted or the Company will anonymise it.
3. The link on the Company’s Site to the client area
3.1 The Company, via the Site, provides Users who have previously requested a quote from the Company with access to their client area via the following link: https://soft.elwoodtransport.com
3.2 When the User logs into their client area, the Company collects the following personal data: username, password.
3.3 The personal data collected is used for the following purposes:

4. Which third parties does the Company share its Users’ personal data with?
4.1. Access to Users’ personal data is restricted to those persons who need it in order to carry out the purpose specific to the processing.
4.2. For hosting the Site and its databases, the Company uses subcontractors located within the European Economic Area, notably the company OVH, based in France.
4.3. Users’ personal data is therefore not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
4.4. Users’ personal data may also be disclosed by the Company to third parties:
- if the law or a legal procedure requires the Company to share Users’ personal data;
- in response to a request from a public authority;
- where the Company considers that disclosing Users’ personal data is necessary or appropriate to ensure the safety of individuals or to protect the public.
5. How does the Company secure Users’ personal data?
5.1. The Company ensures the security of Users’ personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security suited to the risk, and puts in place means to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services, as well as means to restore the availability of and access to Users’ personal data, together with a procedure for regularly testing, assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the technical and organisational measures implemented.
6. What rights do Users have?
6.1. Users have the following rights:

6.3 So that the Company can process the request as quickly as possible, Users may indicate the subject of their request and the context in which their personal data was collected by the Company. They must also provide a copy (front and back) of their identity card.
7. Links on the Company’s Site to third-party sites
7.1. In order to improve the quality of the Site, the Company may include links on the Site leading to third-party sites. These sites have their own privacy policy, separate and independent from that of the Company. Users are invited to review the privacy policy of any third-party site they visit.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended. The Company advises Users to check this page of the Site regularly. In the event of a significant change to the Privacy Policy, the Company will notify Users of such changes.
